This policy explains what personal data Career Radar collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Career Radar ("we", "us") is a mobile app that helps UK students find and track spring weeks, internships, placements and graduate schemes, with live data on how competitive each opportunity is.

Under UK data protection law, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the app you signed up for), legitimate interests (producing competitiveness data, improving and securing the service), and consent (waitlist and launch updates, which you can withdraw at any time).
The view and apply counts shown on each listing are aggregated — they are combined totals across all users and do not identify you or reveal your individual activity to anyone else.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the app:

We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our records, except anything we are legally required to keep. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including authenticated access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Career Radar is intended for university students and others aged 16 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
